Our First Visitor!!

Carl's mom Becky arrived on Tuesday afternoon from Austin. We're super excited to have her here. So far we've gone to Holualoa (an adorable artist community up the mountain behind our house), a coffee orchard (Crackulated Coffee Co), Waikoloa Village (where most of the resorts are), the Farmer's Market, and a famous surf spot here called Banyans, but there weren't any waves. We also took a trip up to the house that Becky's parents built when they lived here. It was breath-taking. I'll let Carl do a more detailed post about that later.

Tonight we are going down to the Kona Inn, which is right off the water, to have coconut shrimp.
